  Really lovely setting close to beach with a lovely garden, ponds full of turtles and lots of birdlife. Very relaxing and peaceful. Cabins are stand alone and spacious, comfy and clean. The on-site manager is friendly, aims to please, and makes sure your stay is memorable.

  I really enjoyed staying here. The rooms are lovely and the environment is gorgeous, the lake right in the retreat is full of amazing wildlife. Turtles swim right up to the bank.

  So relaxing to wake to the sound of nature, i have never seen such a beautiful setting all cabins overlooking lake. Hand fed turtles a new experience, never seen so many. Each morn the sun streamed into our unit and what a truly beautiful setting to enjoy breakfast, and take in the unique setting. So close to shops botanical gardens we were picked up at the door for our tours so convenient to everything. We Found manager extremely pleasant, helpful and eager to make our stay memorable.

  Amazing little cabins with everything you need. Perfect spot for a romantic escape, quiet nature getaway or mature guests with an appreciation for wildlife. Staff are beautiful and will help with anything you need. Great access to walking spots including Botanic gardens, serene beaches and immaculate natural scenery. Excellent value for money.

  Beautiful to wake to the sun streaming through the trees into your bedroom, with the sound of birds providing a natural alarm clock. Rise to have a relaxing coffee on the back deck overlooking the lake which is metres from your hut, whilst the kids feed the turtles, ducks, geese and other waterfowl by hand right in front of you.
